Threaded plugs are visible in the X-radiograph throughout the torso and in the raised proper left bicep (some marked with blue arrows). Attributed to Gian Lorenzo Bernini (Italian, 1598–1680), Neptune and Dolphin, 17th century (probably after 1623), H. 56 cm (J. Paul Getty Museum, inv. 94.SB.45).
