In Dialogue is a new series of temporary installations in the Museum’s permanent collection galleries. This second rotation places six contemporary photographs by artists from China, Israel, Turkey, and the United States in conversation with European paintings and decorative arts created before 1900. Through compelling and unexpected juxtapositions, these installations highlight diverse perspectives and recurring themes across different media, styles, cultures, and time periods.
