Join us for an exploration of one of the most famous adventures of Homer's Odyssey. In a panel of short reflections on individual artworks in the Getty's collection, Getty staff who love the story consider Odysseus's encounter with the iconic one-eyed Polyphemos. They reflect on the different ways ancient artists visualized key moments through time and consider how viewers may react to the conflict of giant and hero.
