Point-of-View Talk with Artist Liza Ryan

Museum Galleries

Join artist Liza Ryan, whose work is featured in the exhibition Recent Acquisitions in Focus: Latent Narratives, and Virginia Heckert, curator of the exhibition, as they discuss Spill (2009), a 30-foot-long band of photographs alternating scenes from nature and images of the human body, linked by a continuous line of spilled India ink. An artist who works primarily in photography and video, Ryan often incorporates references from literature, poetry and film to introduce additional layers of meaning. Sign-up begins at noon at the Information Desk.
