Descriptive Note
-
Text: Unlike other Tiffany design drawings, this drawing depicts an individual object (a plum enamel bowl) that was originally in Tiffany’s personal collection. Plums and leaves embellish the repoussé bown, imbuing it with an air of naturalism. Various notations on the drawing list a numerical and letter code, enamel formulas, the total number of hours required to manufacture the bowl (50), and the name Julia Munson, the head of the enamel department.(value type: free text)
