Explore the art of the written word in a live demonstration of Persian calligraphy with an expert artist. Persian calligraphy has adorned architecture, left its visual impression in works of literature across time, and continues to be a revered and flourishing art form today. Meet the artists, ask questions, and have your name written in Persian calligraphy during this free, drop-in program for visitors of any age. Complements the exhibition Persia: Ancient Iran and the Classical World.
