Friday Flights is a series of interdisciplinary and experimental performances that transform the Getty experience. In July, the line-up includes music and performance art from pop-maven Geneva Jacuzzi, comedic artist Dynasty Handbag, composer Corey Fogel, and artist Elliot Reed. The alternative art space-on-wheels, Gas Gallery, presents the group exhibition take care, which explores radical ambitions of "self-care," while musician Tom Krell of How To Dress Well lends a soundtrack to the Getty tram. In celebration of the current exhibition Artists and their Books / Books and their Artists, artists Barbara T. Smith and Andrea Bowers discuss their work, and a selection of creative independent publishers offers their wares in a pop-up Artists' Books Fest.
