Public Transportation
Get to the Getty Center via public transport! The Getty Center is served by Metro Rapid Line 761, which stops at the main gate on Sepulveda Boulevard. Parking
Parking is $15 per car or motorcycle, but $10 after 5:00 p.m. for the Getty Center's evening hours on Saturdays (and Fridays, beginning May 24 through August 30) when we are open until 9:00 p.m., as well as for all evening public programming, including music, film, lectures, and other special programs held after 5:00 p.m.

Parking reservations are neither required nor accepted.

Pay Once, Park Twice
The Getty offers visitors same-day parking at both the Getty Center and the Getty Villa for one $15 fee. Visitors will be able to go to the Museum Information Desk at both the Center and the Villa to obtain a coupon good for same-day complimentary parking at the other site.

"Pay Once, Park Twice" does not apply Mondays, when the Getty Center is closed, or Tuesdays, when the Getty Villa is closed.

405 Freeway Construction
Roadwork to expand Interstate 405 through the Sepulveda Pass is currently underway. Please check Metro's Web site at www.Metro.net/Projects/I-405 or Twitter feed at www.Twitter.com/I_405 for updates on construction and detours.

As part of the 405 widening project, the Getty Center's entrance is being redesigned. The entrance will be open throughout the construction, which will conclude in 2013.

Hours for the Getty Center site and galleries are as follows. Beginning May 24, the Center will be open on Fridays until 9:00 p.m. instead of 5:30 p.m.

Parking
On-site parking is available for all ticket holders and is $15 per car or motorcycle, but $10 per car or motorcycle after 5:00 p.m. for all evening public programming, including theater, music, film, lectures, and other special programs held after 5:00 p.m.

Visitors to the Getty Villa are not permitted to park anywhere other than the Getty Villa as a condition of the Conditional Use Permit issued by the City of Los Angeles.

No pedestrians may enter the Villa except for ticket holders arriving by public transportation. Passengers must have their Villa admission ticket hole-punched by the driver before exiting the bus in order to enter the Villa.
