Jewelry Workshop

Education Studio

Join designer and artist Deborah Wright for a hands-on introduction to the art of fashioning metal into jewelry. Explore fabrication, tools, and contemporary techniques in the light of methods employed by artisans of antiquity. Participants are introduced to piercing and decorative techniques—such as wire-wrapping and stamping. Tour the galleries, then return to the studio for demonstrations and hands-on practice. Each student completes a chain linked bracelet with semi-precious cut gems. Open to 16 participants. Course fee $125 (includes materials and lunch). Complimentary parking.
