Goal
ICCROM and Getty partnered to offer three instances of this advanced international course in architectural conservation, heritage recording, and information management to help practitioners make better-informed conservation decisions.
Unique among conservation training courses, Architectural Records, Inventories, and Information Systems for Conservation (ARIS) examines the conservation of built heritage through high-tech documentation tools and easy-to-use techniques and research.
Outcomes
- Training of nearly sixty mid-career professionals including architects, conservators, engineers, and educators
- ARIS course participants in turn trained others in their home countries using course material
