Getty supports K–12 educators by offering free professional learning, community events, and on-demand resources that spark creativity, strengthen teaching practice, and bring the power of art and ideas into the classroom.

What We Do

Wellness Day for Educators

Getty’s Wellness Day celebrates and supports those who work in the K–12 education sector with a free day of relaxation, creativity, and community. Past Wellness Days have included activities such as a sound bath, artmaking, gallery talks, aromatherapy, yoga, guided breathwork, meditation, and time to explore the garden and art galleries.

Our next Wellness Day for Educators takes place on Saturday, May 2, 2026 at the Getty Center. Advance registration is required and has reached full capacity. Please check back for next year’s event.

Professional Learning Programs

Join K–12 educators across subject areas to explore incredible art in Getty’s collection and discover ready-to-use, standards-aligned activities and resources that make it easy to spark student curiosity and creativity. Past professional learning topics include art and science, ancient art, and more! All K–12 educators and administrators are welcome to register for these free, in-person events.
