Cameron Trowbridge
Manager, Research Services
Cameron Trowbridge manages research support activities for the Conservation Institute, which includes research, reference, collection development and access for the Conservation Institute's Research Services department and project archives; intellectual property rights management; and production of AATA. He also oversees Getty’s Conservation Guest Scholars and Post-Baccalaureate Conservation Internship Programs. Trowbridge has a BA in Art History from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Master of Science in Information in Library and Information Services from the University of Michigan.
Leo Alas
Senior Staff Assistant
Leo Alas provides administrative and operational support for the Conservation Institute's Research Services department. Alas has a BA in Sociology and Art from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and an MFA in Fine Arts from Otis College of Art and Design.
Lynda Bunting
Managing Editor, AATA
Lynda Bunting manages the production of AATA. Before joining the Conservation Institute, she held various art-related editorial and librarian positions at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles; the Getty Research Institute; Blum & Poe; and the University of Southern California. Bunting has a BA in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles; an MA in Art History from California State University, Northridge; and a Master of Library and Information Science from San Jose State University.
Sheila Cummins
Collections Development Librarian
Sheila Cummins is responsible for developing the Getty Library's collection of research materials focusing on the management, conservation, and protection of cultural property. Cummins has an academic background in art history, which she taught for several years, and a Master of Science in Information in Library and Information Services from the University of Michigan. She previously worked as a reference librarian at the University of Michigan and as an editor for the Bibliography of the History of Art.
Anna Duer
Reference Librarian
Anna Duer is responsible for providing high-level reference, outreach, and instruction to Conservation Institute staff, interns and Guest Scholars. She also co-manages Getty’s Conservation Guest Scholars and Post-Baccalaureate Conservation Internship Programs. Duer has previously held positions with the Los Angeles Public Library and UCLA Library. She holds a BA in Psychology and Social Behavior from the University of California, Irvine, and a Master of Library and Information Science from the University of California, Los Angeles.
Karen Karyadi
Associate Editor, AATA
Karen Karyadi is responsible for abstracts indexing and maintaining AATA's authority files. She received her Master of Library and Information Science in Archival Studies from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a Graduate Certificate in Museum and Curatorial Studies from California State University, Long Beach, with an additional background in photography. Prior to joining the Conservation Institute, she was a curatorial assistant in the Getty Museum's Department of Photographs as part of the Museum's cataloging and digitization initiative.
Meg Suhosky
Project Archivist
Meg Suhosky facilitates the Conservation Institute's internal archiving efforts, collaborating with Getty Institutional Archives to ensure past, current, and future project materials serve as lasting records of the Conservation Institute's activities. Suhosky was previously a special collections archivist at the Getty Research Institute, managing the processing project for the Claes Oldenburg and Coosje van Bruggen papers. Before their time at Getty, Suhosky worked in several West Coast archives including Oregon Health & Science University, Portland State University, and the Jet Propulsion Laboratory. Suhosky was awarded their Master of Library and Information Science degree from San Jose State University.
Gil Visser
Assistant Editor, AATA
Gil Visser is responsible for metadata production and format standardization for AATA. He was previously project administrator for the Getty Research Institute's Curatorial and Special Collections Management departments and has collection management experience at various museums and art galleries in Los Angeles. He holds an AA in Studio Arts, a BA in Art History from Loyola Marymount University, and a Master of Library and Information Science from Rutgers University.
