What is Off the 405
Who’s there, what are they wearing, what should I bring? We’re answering all of your questions before you come.

Body Content
Off the 405 is a free annual summer concert series where you’re invited to enjoy great music, see exhibitions, and experience the Getty Center.
Since 2009, we’ve welcomed bands like Woods, Chicano Batman, and Thundercat to celebrate the season under the setting Los Angeles sun.
This year, there will be five concerts over five weekends.
Here are a few good things to know before you go:

Who’s Playing?
This year’s acts include:
- SML on May 31
- Mabe Fratti on June 14
- Madi Diaz on July 12
- Empress Of on July 26
- Emile Mosseri on August 23.
Check out our Spotify playlist to hear our favorite songs from each.

When Should We Get There?
Each Off the 405 concert starts at 6pm with a live DJ set and ends at 9pm.
But you can come to the Getty Center as early as you’d like—there’s plenty to do.
Check out an exhibition (on Saturdays the museum stays open until 9pm!), take a walk through the garden, or bring a blanket and have a picnic.
How Do I Get Tickets?
For each concert this summer, we’ll announce the ticket release date on Get Inspired, or you can go to the Off the 405 page to see the release date for each concert.
Just a heads-up: tickets can go quickly. Mark your calendar—we want to see you there!
You’re also welcome to hang out with us any time. Check out our event calendar for other exciting events happening year round.
How Much Does It Cost?
Every Off the 405 concert is free. Parking at the Getty Center is $25, or $15 after 3pm and $10 after 6pm. On Saturdays, parking is free after 6pm, and the Museum is open until 9pm.

Will There Be Food?
Yes!
Although outside alcohol isn’t allowed, you can bring your own food and drink. You’ll also find wine, beer, and other food and drinks available in the Museum Courtyard.

What Is the Crowd Like?
The vibes are good, everyone is friendly, and there’s plenty of space to enjoy the concert. Hang out near the stage to experience the show up close, or spread out on the grounds to enjoy the music with ambiance.
What Is Everyone Wearing?
Amazing question. Everyone is welcome to come dressed as themselves. But if you’d like to take a peek at the vibe before planning your outfit, check out these images from last year’s concert or enjoy our IG Fit Check video.
