Updates

  • Registration for Fall 2026 field trips at the Getty Center opening soon—Check back for updates!
  • During ongoing closures and improvements to the museum, the number of students allowed on site each day will be temporarily limited.
  • Beginning in the 2026–27 school year, high school groups (grades 9–12) may choose a docent-led tour or a self‑guided experience with chaperones.

Availability

During the 2026–27 School Year, student groups in grades K–8 will receive docent‑led guided tours. Student groups in grades 9–12 may choose either a docent‑led tour or a self‑guided experience.

All museum field trips booked specifically through School Group Reservations are free.

2025–26 School Year

Tour Dates: September 2, 2025–June 5, 2026
Tour Days: Tuesday–Friday
TourTimes: 10:15am, 10:45am, 11:45am, and 12:15pm

Available for groups of 10 students (minimum) to 90 (maximum) in grades K–12.

2026 Summer

2026 Fall

Tour Dates: September 8, 2026–December 18, 2026
Tour Days: Tuesday–Friday
Tour Times: 10:15am, 10:45am, 11:45am, and 12:15am

Available for groups of 10 students (minimum) to 60 (maximum) in grades K–12.

2027 Spring

To be announced.
