Publications Manager
Martin Coleman began his career in publishing as a researcher for the Oxford English Dictionary and has gone on to work on a range of scholarly and professional books, including dictionaries, thesauruses, encyclopedias, middle-school history textbooks, English-language-teaching materials, psychology handbooks, and scholarly monographs at Oxford University Press, Guilford Press, and New York University Press. He joined Getty in 2023, where he oversees the Conservation Institute's book publishing program.
Kate Mendoza

Kate Mendoza joined the Conservation Institute's book publishing program in 2024. Her experience in publishing includes stints as a bookseller, a technical editor, a copy editor, a writer, and a managing editor. She served as an editor at Kwani Trust, one of East and Central Africa's most prestigious publishers, and was a co-founder and deputy managing editor of Jalada, a pan-African writer's collective. She's had a hand in many prize-winning publications and was involved in translating a short story into 100 languages. Kate is a graduate of Chapman University, American University, and the Yale Publishing Course.
