Emile Mosseri is a Los Angeles-based composer, singer, and songwriter known for his richly emotional film scores and increasingly visible solo work. He earned an Academy Award nomination for his score to Minari and also composed the acclaimed music for The Last Black Man in San Francisco and Kajillionaire. His sound—lush, lyrical, and deeply human—translates powerfully from screen to stage.
In February 2025, Mosseri released his second solo album, tryin to be born, marking a significant evolution in his career as a performing artist. The album blends cinematic orchestration with vulnerable songwriting, revealing a deeply personal side of his artistry. He followed the release with a US and European tour, including performances at The Chapel in San Francisco and Lodge Room in Los Angeles.
Mosseri’s live shows weave together material from his albums and film scores, creating intimate, genre-defying performances. He’s also known for curating special concerts, such as his annual holiday extravaganza in Los Angeles and “Heaven Hunters Live,” a 2023 collaborative performance with Bobby Krlic and The Greedy Heart Orchestra at Hollywood Forever's Masonic Lodge.
