Do you love art, helping students, and working in a beautiful, stimulating environment? Are you looking for new pursuits? Do you have four hours to spare every other week? If so, why not consider becoming a School Group Volunteer at the Getty Center in Los Angeles or the Getty Villa in Pacific Palisades?
As a School Group volunteer, you'll facilitate the safe and orderly movement of visiting school groups, consisting of students, educators and chaperones on weekday mornings between 8:45am and 12:00pm. School Group Volunteers assist with greeting K-12 student group arrivals by greeting buses, helping with student picnics and escorting student groups to their lessons.
School Group Volunteers do not give tours to students and must be at least 18 years of age. We ask for a 2-year commitment to the Volunteer Program.
Fluency in more than one language helpful but not required; no previous arts experience necessary. Ongoing training is provided. Monday- Friday shifts available at both the Getty Center and the Getty Villa.
