This adjustable baseball cap features Getty’s bold new “G” mark. The “G” forms a square block inspired by the square travertine blocks of the Getty Center, while its four mosaic-like pieces, drawn from artworks at the Getty Villa, also represent Getty’s four core programs: the Museum, Foundation, Conservation Institute and Research Institute.

Featuring Getty’s distinctive “G” mark on natural-colored canvas with blue handles and trim, this compact carryall is perfect for daily essentials, whether you’re heading to the museum, running errands or exploring the city. An interior zippered pocket and snap closure keep small necessities tucked away, while a detachable shoulder strap offers another way to carry it. It’s a stylish expression of Getty’s commitment to expanding access to art and cultural heritage worldwide.
Gifts from the Porcelain Jewels Collection
The Porcelain Jewels collection is inspired by an elaborately ornamented 18th-century Sèvres porcelain cup and saucer in the Getty Museum's decorative arts collection. Seeming to gleam with bright gems, the original cup and saucer are heavily adorned using the complicated and expensive technique known as jeweling, where stamped gold foils set with colored enamels were used to imitate cameos, pearls and precious stones.

Gifts from the Chantilly Kakiemon Collection
The Chantilly Kakiemon collection celebrates an 18th century French porcelain dish and wine bottle in the Getty Museum's decorative arts collection. Their ornamentation was inspired by Japanese Kakiemon ware, a distinctive style of porcelain decorated with sparse asymmetrical motifs rendered with limited colors on a white background. Elements such as the shishi (mythical lion-like creature) on the bottle cooler were copied directly from motifs on known Japanese examples.
