Exploring the rich tapestry of cultural and artistic dialogues that have shaped Mexico's photographic history, this exhibition features works by 13 prominent photographers, including Lola Álvarez Bravo, Manuel Álvarez Bravo, Héctor García, Graciela Iturbide, and Pablo Ortiz Monasterio, alongside key related publications. The photographs, donated by Daniel Greenberg and Susan Steinhauser to the Getty Museum over the past 25 years, record the instantes y revelaciones (instants and revelations) of a remarkable century of Mexican creativity.

Esta exposición examina el rico entramado de diálogos culturales y artísticos que han dado forma a la historia de la fotografía mexicana al presentar obras de trece destacados fotógrafos, entre ellos, Lola Álvarez Bravo, Manuel Álvarez Bravo, Héctor García, Graciela Iturbide y Pablo Oriz Monasterio, junto con publicaciones clave relacionadas. Las fotografías, donadas al Getty Museum por Daniel Greenberg y Susan Steinhauser a lo largo de los últimos veinticinco años, registran los instantes y revelaciones de un siglo extraordinario de creatividad mexicana.
