Martin Coleman, Publications Manager

Martin Coleman began his career in publishing as a researcher for the Oxford English Dictionary and has gone on to work on a range of scholarly and professional books, including dictionaries, thesauruses, encyclopedias, middle-school history textbooks, English-language-teaching materials, psychology handbooks, and scholarly monographs at Oxford University Press, Guilford Press, and New York University Press. He joined Getty in 2023, where he oversees the Getty Conservation Institute's book publishing program.

Angela Escobar, Digital Content Manager

Angela Escobar manages the Conservation Institute's Digital Content team, which is responsible for the Institute's narrative storytelling, social media accounts, Getty website content, and conference presence. Prior to joining Getty, she worked for the Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles and Lannan Foundation. She holds an MA in English from California State University Northridge and a Certificate in Manuscript Editing from the University of Chicago.

Lilibeth García, Digital Content Editor
Lilibeth Garcia

Lilibeth García, a member of the Digital Content team, is a features writer, content editor, and social media producer for the Getty Conservation Institute. Before Getty, she worked as a writer for the Office of Strategic Communications and Public Affairs and as a communications specialist for the School of Humanities at the University of California, Irvine, her alma mater. She holds a BA in Literary Journalism and was born and raised in Southern California.

Mariam Helmy, Assistant Digital Media Producer

Mariam Helmy is a member of the Conservation Institute's Digital Content team, focusing on visual assets: images, videos, and graphics. She is a graduate of University of California, Santa Cruz with a BA in the History of Art and Visual Culture and a concentration in Museums, Heritage, and Curation. Prior to joining the GCI full-time, she was a Getty Marrow Undergraduate Intern. Other professional experiences include archival and advancement internships and arts events planning and administration.

Patrick Pardo, Senior Editor

Patrick Pardo joined the Conservation Institute's Communications staff as a senior editor and editor of Conservation Perspectives in 2024. Previously he was the coeditor and project manager of the six-volume John Baldessari Catalogue Raisonné, and from 2002 to 2008 worked at Getty Publications, where he edited books for the Conservation Institute, Research Institute, and Getty Museum.
