Wellness Day for Educators

Who is this for?

Wellness Day celebrates and supports those who work in the K-12 education sector. We kindly ask that all registrants work in this field. To confirm this, please bring your work ID, business card, or similar evidence of your professional education affiliation to the event for confirmation at check-in.

Please note: While we love welcoming your friends and family members to our museum, this specific program is for practicing K–12 educators and administrators only (ages 18+). Guests who are not K–12 educators or administrators cannot register for or attend the event, but are welcome to share a ride and independently enjoy the museum.

Do I need to register or can I walk in?

Advance registration is required for all participating K–12 educators. We’re unable to accommodate walk-ins.

Duration

Drop in anytime between 10am and 3pm.

Planning your arrival

Please bring your confirmed registration with you and have it open on your mobile device or printed. This registration is also your entry to the Getty Center and will be checked upon arrival as you go through security before taking the tram or walking up the hill.

We recommend planning approximately 30 minutes to park, go through security, and make your way up to the event.

Event check-In

Check-in begins at 10am on the Tram Arrival Plaza. Exit the tram at the top of the hill, then loop around to the opposite side of the tram to find the Welcome Check-In table.

Accessibility

When registering for this event, please let us know if you need accommodations, such as an assisted listening device, or an ASL interpreter.

Wheelchairs are available for free rental on a first-come, first-served basis at the Lower Tram Station above the parking structure and at the Coat Check Room in the Museum Entrance Hall. Our event spaces are all accessible with designated seating for wheelchair users and their party.
