Admission
Admission to the Getty Center and to all exhibitions is FREE—no tickets or reservations are required for general admission.
Public Transportation
Get to the Getty Center via public transport! The Getty Center is served by Metro Rapid Line 761, which stops at the main gate on Sepulveda Boulevard. Admission
Admission to the Getty Villa and to all exhibitions is FREE. An advance, timed ticket is required for each adult. Each Villa general admission ticket allows you to bring up to three children ages 15 and under with you in one car. (This does not apply to tickets for events, such as lectures and performances.)

Public Transportation

(Please note that passengers riding the bus to visit the Getty Villa must have their Villa admission ticket hole-punched by the driver before exiting the bus.)

Opening Hours The Getty Villa site and galleries are open:
Closed on January 1, July 4, Thanksgiving, and December 25, and every Tuesday and Wednesday, with the exception of Wednesdays in July (July 1, 8, 15, 22, and 29, 2009).
Please note that the Family Forum will be closed on Wednesdays in July, and no tours or gallery talks will be held on these days. The Cafe and the Museum Store will be open.
