Join us for a celestial event to celebrate the launch of a live poetry reading series featuring poetic voices of Los Angeles. View the solar eclipse while listening to poet Alyesha Wise: bring a chair, lay on a blanket on the lawn, or visit the library as poetry floats through the air! Eclipse viewing glasses available to attendees while supplies last. The eclipse occurs from 10:06 am to 12:22 pm.

Alyesha Wise is a poet, writer, lyricist, and activist based in Los Angeles.

This program is presented in partnership with the Library Foundation of Los Angeles.
