Visitors must reserve a ticket prior to your visit in order to enter the Villa.
Beginning in January 2017, some galleries at the Getty Villa will be closed as we reinstall the collection. Part of the Outer Peristyle will also be closed for maintenance. See the most current information to plan your visit.
No walk-ins are permitted except for those arriving by public transportation.
Cars and Motorcycles
Access to the Getty Villa entrance is only from the northbound right-hand lane of Pacific Coast Highway (PCH). Turning left across PCH is illegal and any attempt to enter the site via Coastline Drive is not permitted.
On-site parking is available for all ticket holders and is $15 per car or motorcycle, reduced to $10 per car or motorcycle after 3:00 p.m.
Visitors to the Getty Villa are not permitted to park anywhere other than the Getty Villa as a condition of the Conditional Use Permit issued by the City of Los Angeles.
There are designated accessible spaces on the lowest level of the parking structure.
Electric vehicle charging (levels 1 and 2) is available on a first-come, first-served basis at South Parking (P1 to P2 transition area) and at Central Parking (near the Loggia).
Parking is available for vehicles up to 6'10" and of standard car length and width. There is no parking for oversized vehicles such as RVs, motor homes, and limousines.

Pay Once, Park Twice
Get same-day parking at both the Getty Center and the Getty Villa for one $15 fee. Visit the Museum Information Desk at the Center or the Villa to obtain a coupon good for same-day complimentary parking at the other site.
Offer not valid on Mondays or Tuesdays.
Bicyclists can park for free at the Pacific Coast Highway gate.
Drop-offs and Pick-ups
Visitors arriving by taxi must present a taxi receipt along with a Villa ticket to enter the Villa.
Taxis can drop off and pick up passengers in the designated area inside the Villa entrance gate. Security officers or Visitor Services staff will direct the taxi to the drop-off area.

Drivers: Please inform the staff at the Villa entrance gate that you are dropping off or picking up a passenger. They will direct you to the drop-off/pick-up area.
Passenger drop-offs are permitted inside the entrance gate for vehicles carrying nine passengers or less, once each person being dropped off has been checked for a Villa ticket.
Visitors must have the bus driver hole-punch your Villa ticket before exiting the bus in order to enter the Villa.
Metro bus line 534 stops at Coastline Drive and Pacific Coast Highway (PCH), directly across from the Getty Villa entrance. (Passengers can connect from and to the Metro Expo Rail Line at the Downtown Santa Monica Station.)
Free Park and Ride lots are available throughout Los Angeles County.
