Group Reservations

The Getty is the perfect destination for groups large and small!

Whether you’re visiting the Getty Villa or the Getty Center, we offer an unforgettable experience that connects you with art, gardens, history, and changing exhibitions and events. Spend the day exploring world-class art, enjoy a peaceful stroll through serene landscapes, or admire the views. Enhance your visit with the GettyGuide App, which offers self-guided tours and a dedicated highlights tour in nine languages, all accessible on your phone. After exploring, enjoy a delicious meal at the Café or Restaurant and browse the Museum Stores for unique gifts.

Booking a group reservation gives you these additional benefits:

  • Reserved parking for oversized vehicles (vans, minibuses, coaches)
  • The option to skip parking altogether with convenient onsite drop-off
  • Waived parking fees for registered nonprofit organizations arriving by coach
  • Guaranteed free admission for your entire group—no individual tickets required

Registered nonprofit organizations are exempt from parking fees for oversize vehicles (not for cars). Please provide your valid Federal Tax ID number when making your reservation.

Passenger Drop-offs

Passenger drop-offs are allowed with a reservation. For passenger and public safety, please do not load or unload on Sepulveda Boulevard.

Tours

All tours are self-guided and we are not currently offering guided group tours. However, we encourage all group participants to download the GettyGuide app to learn more about the art on display in the Getty Museum Galleries.

Where to Eat

Cafe and Coffee Carts

The Cafe is now open and can accommodate groups without a reservation. The Garden Terrace Cafe is open through the summer. Learn more about dining at the Getty Center.

Boxed lunches and drinks are for sale at the Garden Terrace Cafe and coffee carts outside the Museum entrance in the Museum Courtyard.

Picnicking

You can also bring a picnic to enjoy in the Center's public seating areas, on the lawn next to the Central Garden, or at tables, benches, or on the lawn at the Lower Tram Station.
