Describe and Sketch

  • When it is your turn to be a “describer,“ use lots of detail to describe the object in the picture below. Use Vocabulary for Describing an Artwork where helpful.
  • Be specific—the sketcher relies completely on the your words to draw the object without seeing it.
  • Describe the shape, size, decoration, lines, patterns, and other details. The sketcher's drawing will only be as accurate as your description!
