Obama: An Intimate Portrait

Harold M. Williams Auditorium

Former White House photographer Pete Souza presents Obama: An Intimate Portrait, his new book with more than 300 of the over two million photographs he took of President Obama. Accompanied with behind-the-scenes captions and stories, the photographs document the most consequential hours of the Presidency—including the historic image of President Obama and his advisers in the Situation Room during the bin Laden mission—alongside unguarded moments with the President's family, his encounters with children, and interactions with world leaders and cultural figures. Following a presentation, Souza will speak with Madeleine Brand, host of KCRW's Press Play.

Presented with Writers Bloc.
