Your Support Makes a Difference
Your Patron contribution will directly support vital Getty initiatives and programs here in Los Angeles and around the world. Specifically, the Getty Patron Program supports:
- World-class exhibitions at the Getty Center and Getty Villa
- Education and outreach programs for 160,000 students per year, from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Cultural exchanges and international collaborations with leading and emerging scholars around the world
- Scholarly programs presenting lectures, symposia, and films
- Cutting-edge research at six Getty Center laboratories where scientists, conservators, and other professionals address the challenges of conserving art, architecture, archaeological sites, and monuments
- Cultural heritage field projects in countries around the world, including China, Egypt, Jordan, Malaysia, Peru, and the United States
This year, in addition to the signature Museum Arts Access field trip program, the Patron Program will also fund research grants for more than 50 university and graduate-level art historians and researchers, helping foster the next generation of scholars, and will sponsor our popular family programs and concerts that reach audiences of all ages throughout summer 2023.
