Getty Badges for the L.A. Summer of Learning
More about this badge: Learning about art can be a whole lot of fun! Explore a world-renowned collection of art while enjoying stellar views of the city of Los Angeles. You'll use your detective skills to uncover mysteries about works of art, and then mark your accomplishment by sharing a drawing of your favorite work of art with friends and family. This badge can be completed in English or Spanish language. No registration required. How to get it: To complete the Getty Center Art Detective badge, you'll need to visit the Getty Center and bring something to draw with. Once you arrive, pick up your choice of Art Detective Cards from the Family Cart in the Main Entrance Hall, or from the brochure rack outside the Family Room. Follow the directions on the cards to complete the activities. Once you've finished, choose your favorite work of art and make a drawing of it to share with friends and family. To claim your badge code, head back to the Information Desk and show your drawing. What you'll need: Bring a notebook or sketchbook and something to draw with. Pencils and colored pencils are allowed in our galleries. Markers and ink-based materials are not.
