PST ART is a landmark art event led by Getty with partners across Southern California. For the latest edition called Art & Science Collide (October 2024 through February 2025), Getty inaugurated the first-of-its-kind Climate Impact Program (CIP) to harness the cultural sector’s growing engagement in climate action and address the carbon footprint of making art exhibitions. This report presents the shared goals, outcomes, case studies, and emissions reporting of dozens of cultural organizations, forming the largest dataset on the climate impact of exhibition-making to date.
