Digital Diego

This project made Diego Rivera’s 1931 sketchbook of California miners available to the public as an educational and interactive web resource. A previous digital version was hindered by the limitations of its hosting platform. Remedying this issue, Digital Diego enabled users of every academic level to more fully explore Rivera’s artistic process, as evidenced by his preparatory studies and detailed transcriptions.
