Lund Humphries and Getty Publications have committed to join forces on the publication of at least four Illuminating Women Artists volumes. Getty Publications will distribute these books in North America; they will be available from Lund Humphries in the rest of the world.
Series Editors
Dr. Marilyn Dunn is an Associate Professor emerita of Art History in the Department of Fine and Performing Arts and associate faculty member of the Women’s Studies and Gender Studies Program at Loyola University of Chicago. She has taught a wide range of courses in western art with a specialty in Renaissance and Baroque art and women, gender, and art. Her research focuses on art and patronage in seventeenth-century Rome, with an emphasis on women and nuns as patrons of art and architecture.
Dr. Andrea Pearson is a Professor of Art History at American University in Washington, D.C. She specializes in the visual culture of late medieval and early modern Northern Europe. Her books and articles investigate women, gender, and sexuality in the Low Countries and Germany.
