Kalantari draws from her experiences growing up between the US and the Dominican Republic and raising a bilingual child. Lucy Kalantari & the Jazz Cats' latest album is Creciendo, which means "growing up" in Spanish, is a beautifully crafted collection of 10 songs highlighting the amazing transformation of growing up, from children's inner joy to their never-ending need to learn.
