Hughes, Trajan (painter, probably Welsh, active 1709-1712)
|
Note: Hughes is known only by two very accomplished signed works, "Cat and Fish" and "Foxglove in a Wooded Landscape"; other works by him may very well come to light. These two paintings suggest Hughes had some knowledge of the animal painter Francis Barlow. Comment on works: Still Life; Animals |
