Wyatt, Benjamin Dean (English architect, 1775-ca. 1850)

Note: In 1811, Wyatt won the competition for rebuilding Drury Lane Theater. In 1813, he succeeded his father as Surveyor of Westminster Abbey. He resigned in 1827. He is noted for inventing the Louis XIV revival style in London. He also remodelled Apsley House in collaboration with his brother Philip William (1828-1829). British architect; eldest son of James Wyatt.
