| Spanish ..... Oficio consistente en el arte de la plumaria. El amanteca colocaba una capa de algodón cardado mezclado con engrudo y la dejaba secar, con que lograba un lienzo de aldodón que, una vez desprendido de dicha hoja, se depositaba sobre papel de amate en el que el tlacuilo había hecho el dibujo. Se definía con plumas el contorno del dibujo, se daba un fondo uniforme con plumas ordinarias, y luego con plumas ricas y exóticas se cubría enriqueciendo con colores los detalles finales. |
