Normand, Alfred Nicolas (French architect and photographer, 1822-1909)

Note: Born 1 June 1822; died 2 March 1909. Normand made some of the first French calotypes of the Forum and Pompeii in the 1840's. Normand photographed Thessalay, Greece, and Constantinople from 1851 to 1852. Normand also photographed in Naples, Palermo, Malta and Athens in 1851. Normand used photographs to aid his architectural designs. French architect.
