German ..... Klasse von Menschen hergestellter Gegenstände, in der Regel Gebrauchsgegenstände, meist bestimmt durch das Material, die Verwendung, den Stil oder andere Eigenschaften; Beispiele sind Töpferwaren oder Küchenutensilien. In der Archäologie bezieht sich der Begriff auf unterschiedliche Typen von Keramik, die nach charakteristischen Eigenschaften wie Magerung, Härte, Art des Bindemittels oder Oberflächenbehandlung klassifiziert werden, und nicht nach Form oder Dekoration, wie die ["Kamares-Ware"](300020246).
