Dutch ..... Een steenfragment, rond of tot een andere vorm afgesleten, met een diameter van 64 tot 256 mm, dus groter dan een kiezelsteen en kleiner dan een zwerfkei. De term verwijst meer in het bijzonder ook naar een rond afgesleten steen die wordt gebruikt voor bestrating en andere bouwwerkzaamheden. 
Spanish ..... Fragmento redondo de roca redondeado y desgastado en otra forma, con un diámetro entre 64 y 256 mm, más grande que un guijarro y más pequeño que una roca grande. El término puede referirse más específicamente a una piedra redondeada adecuada para ser utilizada en pavimentación u otra construcción.
