Additional Notes:
Dutch ..... Term die voorheen werd gebruikt voor verschillende bedovertrekken, voornamelijk wanneer ze van katoen of van wol zijn geweven; vanaf het midden van de 19e eeuw werd de term doorgaans vervangen door 'spreien'. 
Spanish ..... Término usado desde mediados del siglo XIX en adelante para una variedad de cubrecamas, especialmente aquellas que son grandes, de tela ligera y que cubren toda la cama y la almohada y a menudo llegan hasta el suelo.
