Note: Refers to the style in decorative arts, interior design, architecture, and dress which spread from France to other parts of Europe and the United States during and following the period of Napoleon's French Empire from 1804 to 1814. As in the preceeding Directoire and Consulat periods, the style is characterized by heavy Neoclassical forms and the lavish use of drapery. However, it is distinguished by the use of Napoleanic motifs identified both with the Emperor's power and personal taste, such as the bee, the letter N, eagles, wreaths, and the swan of Empress Josephine.

| Chinese (traditional) ..... 指西元1804至1814年拿破崙法蘭西帝國期間及之後，從法國傳至歐洲其他地區與美國的裝飾藝術、室內設計、建築和服飾風格。此風格雖接續督政時期與執政時期風格，有濃厚的新古典主義形式並使用大量雕刻衣紋，但以呈現拿破崙主題著稱，顯見其帝王權勢及個人品味，常見蜜蜂、字母Ｎ、老鷹、花環和約瑟芬皇后的天鵝。 |

Verwijst naar de stijl in de kunstnijverheid, binnenhuisarchitectuur, architectuur en kleding, die zich tijdens en na het Napoleontische keizerrijk (1804-1814) vanuit Frankrijk over delen van Europa en de Verenigde Staten verspreidde. Net als de voorafgaande Directoire- en Consulaatstijlen wordt deze stijl gekenmerkt door zware neoclassicistische vormen en overvloedig gebruik van draperieën. De stijl onderscheidt zich echter door het gebruik van Napoleontische motieven die verwijzen naar de macht en de persoonlijke smaak van de keizer, zoals de bij, de letter N, adelaars, kransen en de zwaan van keizerin Josephine. |

Fait référence au style des arts décoratifs, de la décoration intérieure, de l’architecture et de l’habillement qui s’est propagé de la France à d’autres parties de l’Europe et aux États-Unis pendant et après la période de l’Empire français de Napoléon, de 1804 à 1814. Tout comme les périodes précédentes du Directoire et du Consulat, ce style se caractérise par de lourdes formes néoclassiques et l’utilisation abondante de draperies. Cependant, il se distingue par la présence de motifs napoléoniens associés à la fois à l’autorité de l’empereur et à son goût personnel, comme l’abeille, la lettre N, les aigles, les couronnes et le cygne associé à l’impératrice Joséphine. |

Refere-se ao estilo de artes decorativas, design de interiores, arquitetura e vestimenta que se espalhou da França para outras partes da Europa e dos Estados Unidos durante e após o período do Império Francês de Napoleão de 1804 a 1814. Como nos períodos anteriores do Diretório e do Consulado , o estilo é caracterizado por formas neoclássicas pesadas e pelo uso luxuoso de cortinas. No entanto, distingue-se pelo uso de motivos napoleânicos identificados tanto com o poder do imperador quanto com o gosto pessoal, como a abelha, a letra N, águias, grinaldas e o cisne da imperatriz Josefina. |

Se refiere al estilo en artes decorativas, diseño interior, arquitectura y vestimenta que se extendieron de Francia a otras partes de Europa y los Estados Unidos durante y el siguiente período del Imperio francés de Napoleón de 1804 a 1814. Como en los periodos precedentes Directorio y Consulado, el estilo se caracteriza por las formas fuertemente Neoclásicas y el uso generoso de pañería. Sin embargo, se distingue por el uso de motivos Napoleónicos asociados con el poder del Emperador y su gusto personal, como la abeja, la letra N, águilas, coronas y el cisne de la Emperatriz Josefina. |
