Note: Locks in which the steel and pan cover are made in one piece and the sear operates vertically to engage in two notches in a tumbler attached to the inner end of the cock spindle, to place the mechanism in either half-cock or full cock. When the trigger is pressed, the flint strikes the steel and simultaneously the pan is uncovered, exposing the priming powder therein to a shower of sparks that ignite the charge. |

Chinese (traditional) ..... 金屬片與藥鍋蓋結合的槍機,其擊錘阻鐵垂直運作以嵌合兩槽口,此二槽口位在與燧石夾轉軸內側端相接之清殼機內,阻鐵位置影響槍機待發狀態。按下扳機時,燧石撞擊金屬片,同時藥鍋打開並露出內部引藥,而產生之大量火花將彈藥點燃。 |
Dutch ..... Sloten waarbij het staal en de pandeksel één stuk zijn gemaakt. Wanneer de trekker wordt overgehaald, raakt de vuursteen het staal en terzelfdertijd komt de kruitpan open te liggen, zodat het kruit wordt blootgesteld aan een regen van vonken die de lading doen ontsteken. |
