Kongōyasha Myōō (Buddhist character)

Note: Japanese Buddhist deity, one of the five Kings of Brightness (Godai Myo-o) who protect and uphold Buddhist law and practices. Also known as the "Devourer of Demons," Kongōyasha Myōō is known for destroying evil spirits and is often depicted with five eyes on three faces. Some tradition states Kongōyasha Myōō was a former demon transformed by Buddhist teachings into a deity.
