Gallizio, Giuseppe Pinot (Italian painter and pharmacist, 1902-1964)

Note: Gallizio's first career was as a pharmacist. He did not begin to paint until the age of 53. His association with Asger Jorn and Piero Simondi led to his production of what he called 'industrial painting,' long rolls of canvas covered in paint and resin designed to be sold by the meter. He was a member of the International Movement for an Imaginist Bauhaus, the Situationist International, and the Lettrist International movement.
