Sánchez de Castro, Juan (Spanish painter, active 1454-1484)
|
Note: One of several artists named "Juan Sanchez" working in Seville at the same time. This artist displays more Italian and less Netherlandish influence that some of the others. He signed a tempera "Virgen de Gracia" , now in Seville Cathedral, and a "Salvator mundi"; a signed and dated fresco of Saint Christopher by him was destroyed in 1932. |
