Webb, Aston (English architect, 1849-1930)
|
Note: Born 22 May 1849; died 21 August 1930. After serving an apprenticeship with the firm of Banks and Barry and winning the PUGIN Studentship for the study of English medieval architecture in 1873, Webb set up his own practice. After 1822, his major works were done in partnership with E. Ingress Bell. His son Maurice W. Webb continued the practice after 1920 under the name Sir Aston Webb and Sons. |
