Roger, Suzanne (French painter and lithographer, born 1899)
|
Note: Roger adapted the cubist style to her own work, painting figural works and landscapes inspired by daily life and historic events such as the Liberation of 1945-1946. Georges Limbour described her painting as 'feminine Fernand Léger.' Her work was exhibited numerous times in Paris and she illustrated Max Jacob's "La Couronne de Vulcain." She was the wife of the painter André Baudin. |
