Note: Horse armor forming a chest guard, often made of bronze for chariot teams or the horses of generals and high-ranking soldiers. Leather straps held it on to the horse. Ceremonial pieces were highly decorated with reliefs.

Chinese (traditional) ..... 保護馬胸的盔甲,通常以青銅製成,以皮帶束在馬身上,用於戰車隊、或是將軍及高階將士的馬上。典禮用的當胸,會以繁複的浮雕作裝飾。 
Dutch ..... Pantsering voor paarden die een borstbescherming vormde en die vaak van brons werd gemaakt voor spannen van strijdwagens of voor paarden van generaals en andere hoge officieren. Leren riemen hielden het prosternidion op zijn plaats. Ceremoniële exemplaren waren zwaar versierd met reliëf.
