Note: Covered vessels for brewing and serving tea, usually with one spout, which is often long and gracefully curved, and, on the opposite side of the vessel, one handle, and sometimes small feet. Distinguished from "teakettles" which usually have a short pouring spout, a bail handle, and a broad, flat bottom, and are used for heating water from which tea is made.

Additional Notes:
Dutch ..... Afgedekte potten voor het laten trekken en serveren van thee, met tuit en handvat en soms met voetjes. Te onderscheiden van 'theeketels' die een hengsel als handvat en een brede, platte onderkant hebben en worden gebruikt om water in te verwarmen waar thee van wordt gezet. 
German ..... Deckelgefäß zum Aufbrühen und Servieren von Tee, gewöhnlich mit einer Tülle, die oft lang und zierlich gekrümmt ist und die an der gegenüberliegenden Seite des Gefäßes einen Griff und manchmal kleine Füße aufweist. Unterschieden vom "Teekessel", der gewöhnlich eine kurze Ausgusstülle, einen Bügelhenkel und einen weiten flachen Boden besitzt und der zum Erhitzen von Wasser benutzt wird, mit dem der Tee hergestellt wird. 
Spanish ..... Vasijas cubiertas para preparar y servir té, generalmente con un pico, el cual es a menudo largo y graciosamente curvado y, en el lado opuesto de la vasija, un asa y algunas veces pequeños pies. Se diferencia de "jarra de té", que generalmente tiene un pico corto vertedor, un asa de barra y una base ancha y plana, y se usa para hervir el agua con la cual el té se prepara.
