Dutch ..... Europese, koperen ventieltrompetten in tenorstemming die in 1837 werden ontwikkeld, met een smalle boring en drie ventielen; werden in de 19e eeuw voornamelijk gebruikt in Franse en Italiaanse militaire kapellen. 
German ..... Europäische Ventiltrompete, ein Blechblasinstrument in Tenorlage, 1837 erfunden, mit einer engen Röhre und drei Klappen; sie wurde hauptsächlich eingesetzt in französischen und italienischen Militärkapellen im 19. Jahrhundert. 
Spanish ..... Trompetas europeas de bronce con válvulas de registro tenor, inventadas en 1837, con un diámetro interior estrecho y tres válvulas; se usaron principalmente en bandas militares francesas e italianas en el siglo XIX.
